You may choose the colors of the walls and furniture for hours, but you won’t feel the beauty of your creativity, if you don’t plan the home interior lighting.

Lighting techniques vary and should be picked individually for each room. The activities you plan to handle in a room will dictate lighting tones and equipment. Table lights, spot lights, clamp lights and many more – get the most out of these using them according to certain interior lighting rules.

If you are planning your office room, you need good illumination and brightness to read and write. Table lamps may be a good choice, as they light the surface of the table directly. But make sure you put the table lamp on your left, because when you read, the light should fall on the paper from your left.

Eyes function very well when the room is brightly lit, but after some time they get tired. The lights in the rooms, where you usually rest, like living-room, bedroom and bathroom, should be very soft. But if the walls are of dark colors, choose a little brighter illumination.

Kitchen should be brightly lit as most of the times cooking requires attentiveness, which will not be possible in the dark. Try to furnish the dining room with soft lights, as this is another room where your eyes should rest.

If you want to highlight paintings or wall decorations, use accent lighting. But be careful, because they point out the defects as well.

Your interior won’t be comfortable, if you don’t pay special attention to the most important detail: your home interior lighting.
