Your Fairy-Tale Garden

Your Fairy Tale GardenBy just having lots of colorful flowers you won’t turn your back yard into a fairy-tale garden. When you are upset or not in a cheerful mood, one of the things that would brighten up your day would be going out to your garden and seeing a colorful, fairy-world atmosphere all around you.

Creating a fairy-tale garden all by yourself is a fantastic garden idea.

  • Before you plant the flowers, try picture them already full grown in your mind. Will they look gorgeous in that location?
  • Add fences. This will make your garden more organized, which will work well both for you and your flowers. It will be easier for you to create paths through the garden. The flowers will not get mixed and will grow the way they are supposed to.
  • You still have to paint them with a very nice, bright color. I recommend that you find a color that you don’t already have in the garden somewhere. Don’ use green as they won’t be visible. Consider orange, yellow, red or blue, as these colors will stand out and be eye popping. They will definitely make your garden look like one from a fairy tale.
  • Don’t forget to make the garden path out of red stone. One option is red sandstone, which will really look great.
  • What else do you need for the garden? A labyrinth (if you can manage). It’ll take some time to gain its full height and effect, but when it’s all done, you’ll hear compliments about your unique garden for a long time.
  • But you’re not done yet. Get some garden gnomes. It’s not a secret that they are very cute. However, when choosing a place for them, consider the fact that they might break easily. It would look fantastic if you put them under the bushes or among the flowers. It’ll seem like little gnomes are hiding there.
  • Another great idea would be putting up signs like “Welcome To My Fairy Tale” or “You Are In Wonderland Now.” Use your imagination!
  • Lastly, put up some over-sized or miniature items, like huge stone shoes or little wooden fairies, all over the garden.

If you have kids, this type of garden will be the best gift for them. They will undoubtedly love it and will have great memories from their childhood “Wonderland” when they all grow up.
