Choosing The Right Dehumidifier
If you have faced the problem of buying a dehumidifier, you need to know all the criteria to define your exact need and choose the right one.
First of all be very attentive with your dehumidifier power, whether it’s for a small closet or a large office. Actually both large and small dehumidifiers have the same working principle. A small one will cost you less, but if you’re not sure which one to take and you are not tight in budget, then prefer the reasonably larger one.
One of the main issues to pay attention to is the humidity level of the space. For a medium room size low (40% to 55%) and medium (55% to 65%) humidity will need 30-pint, while high (65% to 80%) and very high (80% to 95%) humidity levels will need 50-pint and 60-pint dehumidifiers correspondingly.
The ‘power’ of the dehumidifier is measured by the amount of the water it removes from the air within 24 hours. There are minimum 20-pint and maximum 70-pint dehumidifiers. Take into account that number of pints is given for humidity level of 60% and 80 degrees. If there’s too much moisture outdoors you’ll probably need a high pint dehumidifier.
Functioning on electricity, most dehumidifiers consume much energy. So take into account its speed, as the faster it works the less energy it will spend.
Another factor to consider while buying a dehumidifier is the noise level. Some of them are very noisy so you will not be able to use them in hospitals, for example. Though a better functioning dehumidifier might produce more noise do consider the place it will be operating.
All of the aforementioned are important so never neglect even one to be able to make a good choice and purchase the right dehumidifier.
