Imagine yourself going home after a tiresome day. You are so exhausted that you don’t even want to eat or talk to family members.

But would you refuse a relaxing bath? It is the best way to calm your nerves.

As the bathroom is the place where you can relax, everything in it must be pleasant to you.

How should you design a bathroom?

First, think of the color. Some colors may enhance your mood and create a calming atmosphere. Depending on what type of mood you want to create in your bathroom, consider the following colors.

White is a nice and simple color  but at the same time uninspiring. You’d better not make your bathroom completely white. You don’t want it to look like a hospital, do you?

The combination of black and white colors will create a formal atmosphere in your bathroom. If you want to create a relaxing and soothing mood, choose green or blue. Psychologists say that these are the colors of peace and serenity. Combining green with blue is also an interesting idea. It would create a seashore theme in your bathroom.

If you want to feel secure in your bathroom consider gold or burgundy. Warm colors such as red, orange and yellow will make your bathroom cozy.

Just remember that any room needs colors to create an inviting theme. It’s not a bad idea to buy red bath towels, colorful shower curtains or turquoise curtains to create a cooling and refreshing atmosphere. Consider bright lighting to make your bathroom more inviting. Equip the shower with fiber optic lights. Dim lighting may look fabulous but it would make problems while shaving or applying makeup.

You may also consider decorative chocolate-brown accessories such as vases. They will add colors and create a stylish bathroom design.

As designers say, the color you choose expresses a part of you.  Thus express yourself and make your bathroom a  sanctum of spiritual tranquility.
